To start setting-up email on your iPad or iPhone, begin by going to settings > Accounts & Passwords > Add Account
. You will now see a screen as demonstrated below. Select the account type Other
at the end of the list.
You will then be moved onto the next step in the account setup. On this page you will want to choose the only option listed under Mail
which is Add Mail Account
. Clicking this will move you onto the New Account
screen where you begin configuring your account settings.
On this screen you will see four text input fields; Name
, Email
, Password
and Description
.

is your domain. For example, [email protected]Work
.Once you're happy the information you've input is correct, click Next
in the upper right corner of the screen OR Return
on your phone's keyboard.
Now that you've entered your key account information you will be moved on to the penultimate setup window. Here you will enter a few advanced settings for your account.
You will notice the top three fields have been filled in and reflect that of what you've just entered on the previous screen.
Underneath these three fields you'll see six more textareas labelled with Incoming Mail Server
and Outgoing Mail Server
with the same three fields repeated in each. For this you will need to enter the following information:
primary.mushroominternet.com
.[email protected]
.Once you're happy the information you've input is correct, click Next
in the upper right corner of the screen OR Return
on your phone's keyboard.
Your device will now take a few seconds to verify the information that has been input by attempting to contact the server. You will know when everything has been verified because a tick will appear to the right of each field as in the image above.
Once your account has been verified you will be taken to the final window. From here you have the facility to enable / disable certain sync features on your account. We suggest keeping everything default and clicking Save
in the top right corner of the screen.
That's all there is to it. You have now configured emails on your iPad or iPhone. and can send / receive emails from the mail
app on your device.
